Just when you thought the D.C. swamp couldn’t get any murkier, a freshman Democrat is already gunning to impeach President Trump. Meet Rep. Shri Thanedar, representing Michigan’s 13th district, who apparently thinks his first order of business is trying to oust the President.
This latest stunt comes straight from the deep-blue playbook, trying to reignite the impeachment frenzy that voters clearly rejected.

Townhall blew the whistle on this no-name rep, questioning if Thanedar, a wealthy former businessman elected just last year, is actually serving his constituents or just himself. He’s been loud about wanting Trump gone, but details on *why* seem conveniently fuzzy.
Of course, this is pure political theater. Even with Democrats clinging to a razor-thin House majority, any impeachment attempt is dead on arrival in the Republican-controlled Senate. It seems some Democrats would rather chase impeachment pipe dreams than deal with the real issues facing the country, like a shaky economy and the fallout from Trump’s necessary tariffs.
