Vance: No Apologies for Deportations, Border Crackdown

Senator JD Vance isn’t mincing words about the Trump administration’s plans for illegal immigrants: they’re getting deported, and Democrats don’t get a veto. “We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants,” Vance declared. “We do the American people’s business.”

Vance, a vocal supporter of tougher immigration enforcement, has repeatedly called the situation at the southern border an “invasion” and insists mass deportations are essential, starting with violent criminals.

The administration is already moving fast. Troops are at the border, asylum proceedings have been halted, and deportation flights are underway. They’ve also scrapped a Biden-era rule that shielded illegal immigrants from arrest near schools and churches. Vance bluntly stated he “desperately hopes it has a chilling effect.”

The White House claims these tough measures are working, with Vance pointing to a significant drop in border crossings since President Trump took office in January 2025. Trump has ordered agencies across the government to prioritize fixing the border mess.

Predictably, the moves haven’t been without controversy. Vance took heat for incorrectly identifying a Maryland man deported to El Salvador, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, as an MS-13 gang member – an error the administration later admitted. Critics jumped on the mistake, though court documents didn’t back up the initial gang claim.

Vance is also defending Trump’s push to end birthright citizenship, arguing America needs to put its own citizens first. That policy is currently tied up in court after a judge temporarily blocked it. The Senator remains wary of the refugee vetting process, citing security risks and backing the suspension of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. He’s made it clear that under Trump, those seeking asylum might just be treated as “illegal aliens.”

Beyond deportations, Vance backs finishing the border wall, firmly opposes amnesty for those here illegally, and wants a merit-based immigration system focused on skills. He argues that illegal immigration hurts American workers by driving down wages. Even Pope Francis has weighed in, reportedly rebuking the administration’s deportation policy after Vance’s comments, while Vance himself has criticized European nations for their own migration problems.

No apologies for border crack down is just what I want to hear. Good job to the new administration. And to the wimps who are whining right now. Let us reconvene on the state of the nation in at least a year. Biden and the dimwit nitwits left an enormous mess to be cleaned up. Working as fast as he can and I really like Musk running the cleanup. Cut, combine, drain the swamp and clear out their graft and corruption. And no pain, no gain is the price of fixing the mess in the nation today. Restore law and order and clean out the activist judges! Cleaning up is gonna hurt for a bit but Trump and his crew know what has to be done so wimps just resign to the pain first then the gains in the end. It costs the entire nation not just you whiners. Go Trump and MAGA!

And to the dimwit nitwits, the squad is gonna lose big time and for good! Them leading the DNC is great, they will kill it quickly!

What’s the problem? The illegal immigrants broke our law…period. Now they must suffer the consequences for it. They’re lucky we don’t act like the Nazis the left likes to compare us to. They rounded up millions of Jews and tried to exterminate them.

I am with SDOFAZ all the way, it can’t be said any better than that! Thanks, SDOFAZ for sharing. I’ll just add one more opinion: The “Crazy Dems” (As I call them) either aren’t smart enough, or just don’t want to understand that getting Rid of Waste and Abuse does not mean the taking away of Necessary Services; it simply means making all these services better, because the Gov. Bureaucrats and the Crazy Dems can’t waste and abuse the use of TAXPAYERS money anymore, or put the money in their own pockets!!!!! My message to America is: “WAKE UP AMERICA”!!!!! Frances Minor
