Trump Fights Govt Bias, Easter Vow to Bring Religion Back Stronger

President Trump celebrated Easter at the White House Wednesday night, joining faith leaders for a prayer service and dinner where he declared, “We have to bring religion back.”

Reflecting on the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Trump emphasized the vital role of faith in America. “We have to bring it back much stronger,” he told the gathering hosted by the White House Faith Office.

Prominent figures like Rev. Franklin Graham were in attendance, thanking the President for his strong Easter message and his commitment to religious believers. This event highlights the administration’s continued focus on protecting religious liberty, a cornerstone issue for many Americans.

It comes on the heels of President Trump establishing a special task force back in February, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, specifically aimed at tackling anti-Christian bias within the federal government. That task force is looking into potential discrimination against Christians in powerful agencies like the DOJ, IRS, and FBI.

While critics predictably raise concerns about church and state, supporters see these moves as essential steps to safeguard the religious freedoms that are fundamental to the nation’s identity and ensure Christians aren’t unfairly targeted by the government bureaucracy.
