Trump Defended Amidst CNN Chaos Over China, Greenland

Things got fiery over at CNN’s “NewsNight” — or as some call it, the “Thunderdome” — when panelists clashed over President Trump’s tough stance on China and America’s interest in Greenland’s resources. It was a primetime political slugfest that left viewers reaching for the popcorn.

The fireworks really started when liberal commentator Tiffany Cross accused the Trump administration of having a “colonizer’s attitude” towards Greenland. Conservative Scott Jennings wasn’t having it, pushing back against the inflammatory claim. Cross, seemingly unable to debate the policy, insisted her beef was with Trump, not Jennings, before accusing Jennings of resorting to personal attacks when he called her out.

Never-Trumper Ana Navarro jumped in, trying to run interference, but Jennings kept the pressure on, pointing out that unlike hypothetical presidents Clinton or Harris, Trump actually stands up to China. Navarro could only fret about the US being “isolated,” a typical talking point when America puts its own interests first.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get crazier, CNN Business editor Richard Quest flat-out denied there was a recession back in 2022, despite what the numbers — and everyone’s wallets — clearly showed. It was another head-scratching moment from the network, leaving fellow panelists baffled. The whole spectacle showed just how wide the gap is between common sense conservatives and the liberal media bubble when it comes to Trump’s America First policies.
