Well, isn’t this shocking? A new study reveals that ABC’s daytime gabfest “The View” hasn’t had a single political guest on this year who *wasn’t* left-leaning. Zero. Zilch. Nada. According to the Media Research Center, which diligently watched the screeching hens for the first three months of 2025, all 63 guests invited to yap about politics tilted left.
“Turns out @TheView vortex is a very powerful force. And if you’re keeping score, like @NewsBusters at @theMRC, you would know that so far this year The View has brought on 63 guests to talk politics. All of them left leaning…” – @tracegallagher on Tuesday’s @foxnewsnight.… pic.twitter.com/z6LJjD5hWQ

So much for diverse viewpoints! While the show boasts a panel including supposed “Republicans” like Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro alongside mainstays Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin, the guest list tells a very different story. It seems when it comes to inviting actual experts or commentators, only one side of the aisle gets a seat at the table.
Ironically, the show saw a ratings bump right after President Trump took office again in January, hitting an 11-week high. Maybe folks were tuning in hoping for some actual debate, or perhaps just to see the meltdowns? Either way, it seems viewers are getting a steady diet of liberal takes, now even extending into the weekend with their new “Weekend View” segment.
For a show that constantly preaches about hearing all sides, it looks like “The View” prefers an echo chamber. The MRC’s numbers don’t lie: 63 political guests, 63 lefties. Makes you wonder what they’re so afraid of hearing.
