President Trump isn’t holding back, blasting ABC News yet again during a fiery interview marking his first 100 days back in the White House. He slammed the network, calling them out for their coverage – or lack thereof – of the previous administration.
Trump just murdered ABC 🤣🤣
“We had a President that was grossly incompetent. You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it. But you guys didn’t want to write it because you’re fake news.
And by the way, ABC is one of the worst.” pic.twitter.com/A3dx8rt8HO

“We had a President that was grossly incompetent. You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it,” Trump told ABC’s Terry Moran. “But you guys didn’t want to write it because you’re fake news. And by the way, ABC is one of the worst.”
This latest jab comes just months after ABC News settled a defamation suit brought by Trump. The network found itself in hot water after “Good Morning America” co-host George Stephanopoulos repeatedly and incorrectly stated in March 2024 that Trump had been found “liable for rape” in a New York civil case. The actual finding was “liable for sexual abuse.”
As part of the settlement reached last December, ABC attached an editor’s note to its online story, stating the network and Stephanopoulos “regret statements regarding President Donald J. Trump” made during the interview. Many saw this mea culpa as a rare instance of a major media outlet being forced to walk back its biased reporting when confronted.
Trump’s continued calling out of networks like ABC highlights the ongoing war between his administration and media outlets he views as pushing a hostile agenda rather than reporting the facts. It seems the President has no plans to let up on the outlets he deems “fake news.”
