Federal watchdogs are taking a hard look at Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s campaign cash. The Federal Election Commission has officially opened a probe into the Texas Democrat’s 2024 fundraising, focusing on donations funneled through the massive Democratic fundraising machine, ActBlue.
The investigation kicked off after the Coolidge-Reagan Foundation, a conservative group, filed a complaint back in March. They claim Crockett’s campaign might have pocketed donations via ActBlue that broke federal campaign finance rules, though the specifics haven’t been spilled just yet.

ActBlue, known for processing billions in small-dollar donations for Democrats, is already under the microscope. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sounded the alarm bells last year, launching his own investigation into the platform. Paxton found “potential vulnerabilities” that could open the door to illegal foreign interference in elections and urged the FEC to tighten the rules.
Crockett herself hasn’t piped up about the investigation yet.
