FBI Surge: Trump’s Pick Patel Makes Bureau Great Again!

Looks like Americans are ready to make the FBI great again! Under new Director Kash Patel, appointed by President Trump, applications to join the bureau are skyrocketing. The agency saw a whopping 5,577 agent applications flood in during March, Patel’s first full month at the helm.

That’s the highest monthly total since way back in April 2016, blowing past the monthly averages of just 2,797 in 2023 and 3,383 in 2024. Clearly, something’s changed.

Patel, alongside his Deputy Director, former NYPD cop and straight-shooting commentator Dan Bongino, has vowed to clean house. They’re laser-focused on restoring public trust, kicking politics out of federal law enforcement, and getting back to the basics: catching the bad guys. Patel has hit the ground running, pushing for transparency and promising to stop the weaponization of government agencies.

An FBI spokesman confirmed the push to boost recruiting and rebuild confidence. Patel’s advisor, Erica Knight, wasn’t surprised by the flood of applicants, saying folks are genuinely inspired by the new director’s pledge to bring back integrity and make the FBI effective again. After years of controversy, it seems patriotic Americans are answering the call to serve under leadership they can finally trust.
