Revival movement at Texas A&M draws over a thousand students

There’s an undeniable wave of spiritual renewal washing over college campuses lately, and Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi is no exception. Recently, a vibrant gathering organized by the New Life Young Adults group attracted a crowd of nearly 1,500 students, eager to hear messages of hope and faith. This event is a part of a broader revival trend that has been gaining momentum across various educational institutions in the nation.

Pastor Michael Fehlauer of New Life Church was thrilled to share the results of the gathering on social media, boasting of 62 water baptisms and numerous reports of individuals receiving physical healing. In his words, “Jesus is Lord… and He is coming back.” His passionate posts have become a beacon of encouragement for many, stirring a sense of community among students.

An impactful message was delivered during the gathering, focusing on the themes of “conviction, cleansing and commissioning,” which resonates deeply with those seeking a real connection with the divine. As student attendance continues to soar, New Life Young Adults has reported ongoing evidence of God’s work throughout the month of August, with positive experiences reported by hundreds.

Pastor Fehlauer has also been documenting the actions of the community, capturing moments of baptism taking place in a public fountain, which began earlier in February. This momentum hasn’t abated; reports from September indicate that the revival at Texas A&M is showing no signs of slowing down. Tarik Whitmore, the Young Adult Pastor, expressed his excitement about witnessing a tangible movement among college students who are not only finding faith but are actively proclaiming it to their peers.

Interestingly, this spiritual resurgence isn’t isolated. Earlier, students at Ohio State University also marked a significant revival moment—one that was uniquely fueled by the influence of members from the school’s football team. Such events underline a broader national trend of young people rekindling their spiritual journeys across campuses.

As this spiritual awakening unfolds, there is a collective hope for continued divine engagement among college students nationwide, as vibrant testimonies and gatherings spark inspiration across various university landscapes.
